Sunshine Hospital has unveiled a new 8 storey multi-deck carpark built from the ground up featuring RHINO-STOP®️ barrier perimeter edge protection.
The Western Health funded project contains 1,000 car park spaces expanding the hospital capacity by a third.
Varying RHINO-STOP®️ products were used to meet with the different system requirements across the construction. RHINO-STOP®️ Screen at 1500mm and 2500mm high was used on the top deck level to provide compliance for vehicle loading but also to provide a higher level of security and anti-climb restraint.
Conventional RHINO-STOP®️ Type 4 1100mm high car park barrier was used throughout the remaining levels on the perimeter edge and ramps. Safe Direction also provided some bespoke designed barrier solutions where a simple mesh guard was required without the need to restrain vehicles.
