Safe Direction is pleased to announce that BRIFEN Wire Rope Safety Barrier has been recommended for use by the Austroads Safety Barrier Assessment Panel (ASBAP).
BRIFEN is the first MASH compliant safety barrier system approved for use within Australia having successfully passed three (3) length-of-need impacts and seven (7) terminal impacts.
Easily identified by its unique weave pattern, BRIFEN is recognised as the world’s leading wire rope safety barrier. The interwoven feature limits dynamic deflection and provides soft vehicle containment and redirection.
Safe Direction Managing Director, Hayden Wallace comments “Safe Direction is proud to add BRIFEN to our expanding MASH safety barrier product range. The MSKT terminal was the first MASH guardrail end terminal introduced into Australia and Safe Direction is again leading the market with the introduction of the MASH compliant BRIFEN wire rope safety barrier.”
BRIFEN is sold by Safe Direction under licence to Hill and Smith of the UK.
