The new Bunnings Warehouse located in Blacktown, NSW was a $40 million dollar project constructed by ADCO Construction Group.
More than 200m of the RHINO-STOP® Truck-Guard warehouse barrier was installed along the perimeter edge providing impact protection for heavy vehicles and fall protection for pedestrians.
RHINO-STOP® Truck-Guard was developed specifically for Australian designers and certifiers and complies with the 40kN impact load described in AS/NZS 1170.1 for medium traffic areas. A medium traffic area includes driveways, ramps, repair workshops, footpaths and car parking frequented by vehicles up to 10,000kg gross mass.
RHINO-STOP® Truck-Guard is an energy-absorbing, semi-rigid warehouse barrier providing reduced dynamic deflection. The energy absorbing feature reduces damage to the impacting vehicle and the barrier system. The semi-rigid feature of RHINO-STOP® reduces the space requirement between fixed object hazards and the barrier, conserving valuable floor space.
RHINO-STOP® Truck-Guard is a modular barrier system that may be installed as a stand-alone barrier for car park and warehouse applications or can be installed for pedestrians, with anti-climb mesh infill panels for perimeter fall protection.
RHINO-STOP® Truck-Guard is anchored with two M20 fixtures with the option of using mechanical through/expansion bolts or chemical anchors.
