RamShield® Low Deflection has been recommended for acceptance by the Austroads Safety Barrier Safety Panel (ASBAP).
RamShield® Low Deflection combines the sectional strength of C-posts with standard w-beam to reduces the clearance required between barrier and hazard, an important design consideration for installation on narrow formations.
RamShield® Low Deflection is approved with the w-beam rail connected directly to the C-post, reducing the width of the system or with the RamBloc™, a 150mm steel RHS spacer positioned between the C-post and w-beam guardrail.
