Safe Direction is pleased to announce its appointment by Road Systems Inc (RSI) of the USA as an Australian Distributor of the Sequential Kinking Terminal (SKT-350) and Flared Energy Absorbing Terminal (FLEAT-350) for safety guardrails.
The SKT-350 and FLEAT-350 are amongst the world’s and Australia’s most popular and highest performing guardrail end terminals. Combined, these systems have been subjected to in excess of 24 compliance tests to the international standard NCHRP-350 and have an exceptional in-service record extending for over 14 years.

Flaring the terminal can reduce the likelihood of impact by providing increased recovery space for the motorist. Moreover, flaring the terminal allows for the overall length of the safety barrier system to be shortened. This reduces the upfront and life maintenance costs of the barrier installation” Wallace said.
The SKT-350 and FLEAT-350 terminals also offer the unique benefit of having a complete set of interchangeable parts, the only variance being the impact head. This effectively reduces the cost of asset maintenance and simplifies the safety guardrail installation routine for contractors.
